South West accountancy firm Milsted Langdon, which has an office in Bath, is to go head to head against rivals from the region for a prestigious tax award.
The firm is one of five firms in the running for the Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm title at this year’s Tolley’s Taxation Awards.
Milsted Langdon, which also has bases in Bristol, London, Taunton and Yeovil, is no stranger to the category, having won it in 2016 and being shortlisted four times, including last year when it lost out to North West firm Cowgills.
This year it is up against Albert Goodman, which has bases in Bristol, Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Yeovil, Weymouth, Hazlewoods, which operates out of Cheltenham and Bristol, McGills - with offices in Cirencester, Malmesbury and Fairford, and Thames Valley firm Oury Clark.
The prestigious Tolley’s Taxation Awards cover the whole of the tax profession, showcasing the best of the UK’s professional practices of all sizes, specialist and regional firms as well as those working in-house or in the public sector.
The winners of the 20 categories making up the awards will be announced on 16 May at a glittering presentation ceremony at the Hilton London Metropole.
Milsted Langdon, which has 20 partners and 250 employees, advises a diverse range of personal and commercial tax clients, with services from tax planning and return submissions to R&D tax relief, Stamp Duty Land Tax and VAT.
The firm’s specialists manage some of the most complex issues facing the tax landscape, including cryptoassets, property taxes, tax investigations and inheritance tax.
The team has built up an outstanding reputation, and is recognised by its clients as a trusted, forward-thinking accountancy practice that prioritises tax efficiency and bespoke, client-first advisory services.
Milsted Langdon tax partner Rob Chedzoy said: “We’re extremely proud of the work that we do and the reputation this has earned us among our clients and within the region.
