Experienced human resources director Gillian Pears has joined regional law firm Mogers Drewett to head its HR department, bringing with her more than 25 years’ experience in the field.
Gillian, pictured, has extensive experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, internal communications and compensation and benefits.
She joins Mogers Drewett, which has offices in Bath, Wells, Frome and Sherborne, from Midsomer Norton-based global workwear company Williamson-Dickie Europe, where she spent two-and-a-half years as human resources director – Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to that she worked for 15 years at Bath media group Future, where she was HR director and, later, head of HR responsible to its board for HR policy, payroll, training, resourcing as well as flexible working and family-friendly policies.
She is also a former World and British Triathlon champion as well as a Cycling Time Trial national champion and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
