Regional accountancy, tax and advisory firm Bishop Fleming has further strengthened its trusts, estates and probate team with two senior promotions.
The firm, which has one of its eight offices in Bath, said making Olvia Down tax director and Rebecca Hawkins senior tax manager demonstrated its commitment to growing a dedicated team of trust experts.
Bishop Fleming recognises that the taxation of trusts is a specialist area and so has created a team of dedicated specialists dealing with all aspects of trust taxation.
As a result, it can offer an unparalleled service to its clients with existing trusts and to those who may be thinking of establishing one in future.
The team is licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to carry out the reserved legal activity of non-contentious probate.
Partner and head of the trusts, estates and probate team, Alex Robins, said: “Olivia and Rebecca’s promotions reflect our firm’s investment in creating a dedicated trust team, ensuring that we can provide an all-encompassing trust service to our existing clients and prospects.
“I really feel that this is an exciting time for the team as we eye significant growth for the business over the next few years.”
Olivia Down said she was delighted with her promotion as it allowed her to further focus on our vision for growing the team across the firm’s footprint in the South West and West Midlands.
Rebecca Hawkins, who joined the firm as a trainee in 2010, added: “I’m excited to take on this new challenge, further contribute to the success of our team, and continue helping families navigate trust and probate matters with care and support.”
