A Bath-based HR consultancy set up by two friends from university is in the running for a major national industry award.
Kirsty Senior and Georgina Read launched CitrusHR in 2009 after becoming frustrated with the nine-to-five-5 corporate lifestyle.
Twelve years later their mission to deliver more creative HR solutions for small businesses has resulted in the firm being shortlisted as HR Consultancy of the Year category of the prestigious Personnel Today Awards 2021.
Covering the South West and London, CitrusHR still adheres to its founding principle of offering an outstanding and seamless HR support service while enabling its employees to be able to work fully flexibly.
The consultancy has doubled its turnover every year and, despite the past 20 months being challenging, it has continued to grow, expanding its client base and growing the team to eight employees who work in Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester, London and Surrey as well as Bath.
Director and co-founder Kirsty Senior said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted. It’s a real testament to our team and the wonderful clients we support and advise.
“We are excited for the awards evening and wish all those shortlisted the best of luck.”
CitrusHR Consulting is one of seven firms shortlisted in the HR Consultancy of the Year category. The winners will be announced next Tuesday at the awards ceremony at London's Grosvenor Hotel.
