Carnsight Communications, the boutique public relations and social media agency based near Bath, is continuing to grow with a new appointment and a senior promotion.
Laura Witte, who has extensive experience in content creation, e-commerce and social media, has joined the Marshfield-headquartered agency as social media manager while Alexandra Johansen, who joined Carnsight last year, has been promoted to PR account manager.
The agency, which specialises in working with agencies and founder-led businesses, said it expects further expansion this summer with a work experience placement and an internship.
Laura, pictured, right, with Alexandra, relocated to the UK from Germany in 2019 and moved into digital marketing following a career as an equine midwife.
She has a diverse skillset, with a bachelor’s degree in equine science and business management and most recently worked in digital roles for UK equestrian brand LeMieux.
Laura said: “It’s great to be joining such a dynamic team and real-world agency like Carnsight. “I’m excited to expand on the company’s capabilities and deliver results for a compelling roster of clients.”
Alexandra initially joined Carnsight on a three-month internship, going on to become a permanent member of the team as an account executive.
She said: “Working with Carnsight has been a dream. The opportunity to share clients’ compelling journeys with the world and elevate their success has been incredibly rewarding.”
Carnsight founder Jessica Morgan said Laura had already become an asset to the business.
“It’s been a joy to see her gel with the team and our clients,” she added.
“Her dynamic skills and extensive online and SEO expertise bring an exciting new string to our bow.
“Alexandra’s promotion is a testament to her talent and competence, not to mention her brilliant attitude.”
Carnsight has worked with a wide range of businesses across the UK including Sulis Hospital Bath, London-based integrated customer engagement agency UNLIMITED Group and the Flexible Space Association, which supports, promotes and represents the flexible workspace industry across the UK.
It recently launched Practically Power PR, an e-book and accessible guide to the art of communications aimed at helping small businesses take on the key business function with confidence.
