A boutique hotel near Bath has become the first British venue to join the recently launched WorldHotels Crafted Collection.
The Rudloe Arms in Corsham, owned by acclaimed chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White, is one of just eight venues in the prestigious group of luxury hotels.
The collection, launched earlier this year, aims to represent a new generation of lifestyle hotels for travellers who “crave creativity, immersive experiences and great design”.
The Rudloe Arms, pictured right and below, was bought by Marco Pierre White in 2012, who rebranded it from its original name of the Rudloe Hall Hotel the following later after a major refurbishment.
An adult-only hotel, it is set in 14 acres of mature grounds, wooded areas, ponds and wild meadow gardens with stunning views across the Box Valley towards Bath.
It has 12 quirky and eccentricly designed bedrooms in its main house and a further 24 in its Treetops building. It is also a member of the Best Western group of hotels (BWH).
Marco Pierre White said: “If you think of what we have all witnessed in hospitality over the last two years, we all need as much support as possible. WorldHotels Crafted Collection was our chosen partner to best assist The Rudloe Arms.”
Newly appointed Rudloe Arms general manager Sharon Andrews added: “We are delighted to have joined WorldHotels Crafted collection and to be the first in Great Britain is exciting.

WorldHotels North America pesident Gregory Habeeb said each hotel in the WorldHotels Crafted Collection povided “seamless, humble and expert service that creates an emotional connection with the guests, reminding guests why they love to travel”.
The other hotels in the collections are The ACME Hotel Company, Chicago, Hotel Bijou in San Francisco, La Casa del Zorro in Borrego Springs, California, Warwick Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, The Vault Hotel in Helsingborg, Sweden, the Hotel Haarhuis in Arnhem, Netherlands, and Milan’s ODSweet Duomo .
WorldHotels Collection is a privately-held hotel soft brand within the BWH Hotel Group global network while the BWH Group GB is a retained-profit membership organisation, comprises 290 independent hotels and 18 hotel brands.
