Bath accountancy firm Richardson Swift has boosted its senior management team with the appointment of Calvin Healy as a director.
Calvin, pictured, has been promoted following a record year for the firm, during which its turnover grew by 25%.
The qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser joined the practice in 2014 having spent the previous 15 years at regional and top 10 accountancy firms Moore Stephens and Pearson May where he advised owner-managed businesses and private individuals on their accounting and tax requirements.
His promotion means he joins directors Jon Miles and Debbie Boulton and founders Mike Richardson and Derek Swift in running the 28-strong accountancy firm.
Jon Miles said: “Over the past three years, Calvin has made a significant contribution to the firm by developing his team, helping to bring in new clients and adding technical expertise and experience in specific key areas of tax.”
Calvin added: “It’s an exciting time for the firm as it looks to expand further in Bath and the surrounding areas.
“The world of tax is becoming ever more complex and, as part of my new role, I’ll be continuing to develop the firm’s private client service offering, including inheritance tax and trust and estate planning, to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice.”
Established in 2009, Richardson Swift is the largest independent firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers based solely in Bath. It advises local owner-managed businesses, private individuals and their families in areas spanning tax planning, business services, audit and corporate finance.
