The private client team at RWK Goodman, the Bath-headquartered law firm, has been boosted by the arrival of Cherry Stuckey as a partner.
Cherry, pictured, has more than 15 years’ private client experience specialising in estate planning and estate administration.
Prior to joining RWK Goodman, she was head of the Bristol private client team for international law firm Ince (revipvipusky Ince Metcalfes). She has also worked for Burroughs Day and Freed & Co.
In her new role at RWK Goodman she will advise a broad range of clients, predominantly UK resident and domiciled, in connection with their personal wealth and estate planning.
She is able to support clients with complex family inheritance and succession issues, including dealing with the administration of a person’s estate and also works with professional advisors such as accountants and financial advisors to address succession and tax issues, maintaining flexibility for my clients.
Cherry said: “I am extremely excited to have joined the estate planning team at RWK Goodman given the firm’s culture, client base and the opportunity to help grow its private client offering.
“It is always a pleasure getting to know my clients and their families and supporting them through the various stages of their life.
“My goal is always to find the right solution for my client’s particular issues and this role is a great fit for my skills."
James McNeile, partner in RWK Goodman’s Bath office private client team, added: “We are pleased to have a lawyer of Cherry’s skill and experience join us to strengthen our Bath private client team and support us in the continued growth of this specialist practice area.”
RWK Goodman, which was formed last year from the merger of Bath-headquartered Royds Withy King and London practice Goodman Derrick, employs more than 500 people. As well as Bath, it also has offices in Bristol, Swindon, Oxford and London.
