Independent financial and corporate advice firm Chase de Vere is to recruit 20 more financial advisers over the coming months, including in its Bath office.
The firm, which employs 195 financial advisers, is looking to increase this number as part of its long-term growth strategy.
Chase de Vere increased annual profits by 34% to £5.4m last year and sees opportunities for further growth due to a reducing supply of genuine independent financial advice in the market as more companies choose to offer restricted advice.
Chase de Vere chief executive Stephen Kavanagh said: “It has become more difficult for people to access independent financial advice, especially as most of the larger advice firms now give restricted advice – which can mean they focus on selling their own financial products rather than the best products on the market.
“Chase de Vere is staunchly independent as we believe that the best advisers want to give independent advice and that people benefit most from getting pension, investment and tax planning advice which is genuinely independent.
“We want to recruit more top-quality advisers in Bath so that more local people can benefit from independent financial advice.”
Chase de Vere, part of Swiss Life, has 13 offices across the UK.
