CFH, the Radstock-based document management firm, is continuing to expand after signing a new funding arrangement with Clydesdale Bank.

The agreement means CFH can further increase development of its pioneering Docmail fulfillment service which, since 2008, has grown by more than 20% per quarter, and adds more than £3m a year to CFH’s £28m turnover.

Docmail is one of a range of innovative products developed by CFH that reduce postage costs for its customers. Launched in 2008, it brings the benefits of low-cost, easy-to-use post to all sizes of business and provides a complete postage service for the same price as franking a letter while reducing the costs involved in mass mailings. Docmail charges from just 28p (plus VAT) for stationery, print, postage and delivery.

Clydesdale Bank’s funding, made through its Investing for Growth initiative, has provided CFH with a streamlined and effective client management service. CFH recently switched its banking from RBS to Clydesdale.

CFH managing director Dave Broadway said: “We have grown exponentially since the company began 34 years ago and did not feel that the attention given to us reflected our size. We have particular needs and support requirements and we felt that we needed better, more cohesive support from our banking partner, with a single point of contact for asset finance, invoice finance and banking. With Clydesdale we have just one partner contact and everything is handled through them.”

Ian Harris, business partner at Clydesdale Bank Financial Solutions Centre in Bath, said: “We were pleased to be able to assist CFH with its continued growth. At Clydesdale Bank we pride ourselves on our streamlined approach to business and are happy to be able to provide this to CFH.”
