Global property consultancy Savills has relocated its Bath office after 35 years in the same building.
The firm, which has a team of residential and rural property experts in the city, now operates out of 2,500 sq ft of renovated and reconfigured space in a Georgian building on Milsom Street, pictured.
London-headquartered Savills opened an office on George Street in 1988 and over the past three decades has developed a market-leading multidisciplinary team in Bath specialising in the upper end of the market.
Having outgrown the George Street office it said its new flagship base provided a spacious, flexible and contemporary home for staff and clients.
Head of Savills Bath Alistair Heather said: “We saw an opportunity, not only to move onto one of the city’s most famous shopping streets, but to create a new flagship office that is perfectly aligned to our clients, business and brand.
‘We are proud to be the market-leading business for residential sales in and around Bath. Undoubtedly, this comes down to the strength and expertise of our team, in which we continue to invest.
“This means that, despite a more challenging market, we have secured some significant sales for our clients this year, including record-breaking sales on Great Pulteney Street and Brock Street – two of the city’s most iconic addresses.”
Savills, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, employs more than 40,000 people in 70-plus countries throughout the UK, Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
