Bath-based workplace design and build company Interaction has appointed experienced senior designer Martha Gray to its fast-growing team.
Martha, pictured, joins as a creative lead after nearly 18 months at London-based office design and build agency Oktra, where she was a senior designer leading on major projects, from pitching stage through to completion.
Her projects included the design of new showpiece London headquarters for Control Risks, the global risk consultancy, and a new London office for Tripledot Studios, one of the world’s largest mobile gaming companies.
Prior to that she was a senior designer at BDG Architecture + Design, also in London, where she led aspects of design projects for clients including Google.
She has also worked as a designer for Siren Design Group in Sydney, Australia, where her clients included Uber.
In her new role as a creative lead at Interaction, she will lead a team of designers working on a national pipeline of design projects.
Martha’s arrival follows six new hires in February at the firm, including senior and graduate appointments, as well as a raft of new project wins.
Privately-owned Interaction, which now employs nearly 60 people, also recently moved to new state-of-the-art offices. Known as The Quarter, the Grade II listed building in Edgar Mews, has been transformed into a flexible workspace, creating one of the largest new office developments in the area.
Interaction managing director Dieter Wood said: “Martha has tremendous experience leading on high-profile design projects in London and nationally, so it’s great to welcome her to our fast-growing team.
“She is the latest senior designer to move from London to find fulfilling and creative design work, and better quality of life, with us here in the West Country.
“We know Martha is going to have every success in her critical new role here at Interaction.”
Interaction’s recent major projects include the Bristol offices of rapid-growth specialist software firm Amdaris and international law firm Osborne Clarke and GKN Aerospace’s Global Technology Centre in Filton.
