Bath accountancy firm Richardson Swift has strengthened its tax and business advice teams with two senior appointments.
Calvin Healy, a University of Bath biochemistry graduate, joins as head of personal tax having gained substantial experience in previous roles at Bath firms Moore Stephens and Pearson May.
In addition to overseeing the firm’s personal tax compliance function, Calvin will provide specialist tax and estate planning advice to its growing number of private clients.
Joining Richardson Swift as audit manager is Catherine Edwards, who was previously with Baker Tilly in Bristol, where she held a similar position. Prior to this Catherine was with Robson Taylor for several years before it merged with Baker Tilly.
Catherine will play a key role overseeing auditing processes on behalf of Richardson Swift’s many business clients. The firm is experiencing growing demand for its specialist auditing services among owner-managed businesses of all sizes.
Richardson Swift co-founder Derek Swift said: “Catherine has great experience helping businesses improve their internal systems while Calvin’s technical knowledge and experience strengthens our tax advisory and compliance service for private individuals, with the aim of reducing their tax burden.”
