Digital agency Aerian Studios, based at Holt, near Trowbridge, has launched a website and branding exercise to support sales of a unique sunflower oil based moisturiser developed by NHS clinical scientists.

For more than 20 years, doctors at a Salisbury hospital have prescribed the cream to patients recovering from burns and plastic surgery.

It has become so popular that the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is now producing it on a commercial basis with all profits reinvested into patient care. The venture is the first of its kind in the NHS

The Trust appointed Aerian to design a website to promote My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream to the wider public, stressing its unique qualities – it is rich in essential fatty acids, free from perfume, lanolin and colour, contains 5% pure sunflower oil, is paraben-free and has not been tested on animals.

Aerian says its site is not only easy to navigate, but easy on the eye with inflorescent sunflower imagery.

The agency has also helped the Trust with a comprehensive re-brand and communications strategy to launch the cream on a commercial basis, reflecting its natural ingredients derived from the sunflower oil.

Aerian Studios managing director Phil Cave said: “Aerian are incredibly proud to have led this project from its inception to launch.  The Trust have a rare opportunity in their hands and the product has already received rave reviews from former patients.  Aerian are keen to garner further interest in the site and the product through its onward journey into the e-commerce sector and we look forward to continuing our work with the Trust to ensure its steady growth.”
