Novia, the Bath-based provider of wealth management service for investment advisers, is to renew its sponsorship of Bath Rugby for the 2020/2021 season.
The deal continues the use of Novia’s branding on the team’s training kit and naming rights on the Novia Stand (South Stand) at The Rec for a third season, along with matchday hospitality.
This season Novia will also sponsor the laptops used by the club’s coaches and analysts.
The new deal maintains Novia’s partnership with the Premiership club, which started in June 2011. The firm was the club’s shirt sponsor until 2014.
Bath finished fourth in the Premiership last season and kick-off the new campaign at home tomorrow against newly promoted Newcastle Falcons.
Novia CEO Bill Vasilieff, pictured, said the deal showed that Novia remained “absolutely committed” to the local community.
“This has been a hugely successful partnership over the past decade and we are thrilled to be able to extend this further into the next season,” he said.
“This has been a really successful year for Bath Rugby and things are looking really promising for next year. We are proud to continue our support for the club and look forward to another successful season.”
Bath Rugby CEO Tarquin McDonald added: “Novia are one of our longest-serving partners. They are a market-leader within financial services and we are proud to be associated with a Bath-based business who has such a positive impact far beyond the city.
“We are looking forward to sharing the next evolution of our rugby journey with them.”
Novia was launched in 2008 and now administers over £7bn of assets.
It delivers market-leading investment technology and service to financial advisers and their clients. It offers investments from more than 350 fund managers and model portfolios from 100-plus discretionary fund managers.
As well as Bath Rugby, it sponsors a number of Bath organisations, including the Children’s Literature Festival, and through its Novia Foundation raises funds for charities in and around the city.
