The charity sector will come under the spotlight at an online conference next month staged by Smith & Williamson, part of wealth management and professional services firm Tilney Smith & Williamson.
The Zoom event on Thursday September 30 will examine the findings of the firm’s recently launched charity survey, with an expert panel debating some of the most interesting and controversial findings.
Derek Hill, head of charity strategy at farewill.com, will also discuss how charities can use free Will writing as part of their fundraising strategy.
Smith & Williamson Bristol managing partner and head of charities Nigel Hardy, pictured, said: “Our survey focused on four key areas: cashflow, risk, responsible investing and the implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We will look at how charities can use cashflow modelling to establish and stress test their reserves policy and factors to consider when looking at risk and return.”
The conference takes place from 9.30-11.45am and is aimed at trustees and senior executives from charities, as well as advisers who work in the charity sector. Certificates of attendance will be available on request.
