Bath-based loyalty app Memberoo has made two key appointments to its team from rival firms as it continues to go from strength to strength.
The app, which was launched last year from an office in Westgate Street, has recruited Daniel Harding from Vouchercloud as an account director and Julie O’Reilly from Groupon as South Wales business development manager.
The pair have a combined experience in the tech, communications and retail sectors of more than 17 years and bring with them a breadth of knowledge, skills and experience.
They will support new businesses development at Memberoo and its sales teams across Bath, Cardiff and Swindon.
Memberoo provides exclusive offers to customers while also helping the businesses it works with gain access to the valuable data they need to drive marketing campaigns and make well-informed business decisions.
It has more than 3,000 users in Bath and Cardiff.
Julie O’Reilly said: “I am proud to be working with such a new, forward-thinking brand like Memberoo. There has been a tremendous response to the app so far and I am looking forward to working with the team to help drive and grow the business as it launches across the other prime locations in the UK.”
Memberoo CEO Emma Smith, who launched the app last year after 10 years in community engagement, added: “After a very busy year, I am thrilled to say that we have recruited two new crucial members of staff. Emma launched Memberoo with tech expert Don Keir, who has already successfully launched two tech businesses.
