Bath-based construction and property development group Halsall has two new directors as a result of internal promotions.
Tim Lakeman, pictured left, has taken on the position of commercial director for Halsall’s construction business while Ben Jones, right, will become finance director of both Construction and Halsall’s joint venture development arm, Halsall Homes.
Both promotions form part of Peasedown St John-based Halsall’s continuing plans to grow its capability and reputation in the South West’s construction and development sectors.
Halsall managing director Andy Corp said: “Both Tim and Ben are exceptionally talented and as members of our leadership team they have played a key role in our growth and success in recent years.
“Their skill and commitment have significantly elevated the capability of their teams and provided a solid platform to support our future growth. As we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic and enter a new financial year we feel it is the perfect time to promote Tim and Ben and recognise the expertise, skill and leadership they bring to our business.”
Halsall was launched in 1972 as a local builder and has since grown into a major contractor across the South West. It opened a regional office in Exeter in 2016.
It is part of the Bath-based family-owned Shepperton Group, which started as a housebuilder before World War II and also includes Shepperton Homes and Shepperton Properties.
Halsall Construction handles projects across the residential, care & retirement, education, healthcare and commercial sectors. Halsall Homes is involved in development, joint ventures and land acquisition and promotion.
