Can solar give you energy security? If so, how much does it cost, how can you finance it and what return on investment might you expect?

These and other questions are on the agenda at a free webinar on Tuesday 3 October when Bristol-based Solarsense will bring together industry experts for a live panel discussion.

Hosted by former BBC producer Dave Harries, the webinar will be an opportunity to hear the first-hand experiences of businesses that have already invested in solar, alongside expert advice from finance and solar energy specialists.

Among the panellists are Peter Booth, group finance director of MC Group, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of commercial transport solutions, and Kevin Mulvaney, sustainability consultant for England Rugby.

Kevin is vice chair of the board of directors at St Mary’s Old Boys RUFC in Bristol, pictured, where he recently managed a £57,000 solar and battery storage project.

Kevin said: “We were very keen to improve the green credentials of the club and reduce our CO2 emissions.

“At the same time, cost was a driving factor – even before the recent rises in electricity prices we couldn’t afford not to do it.”

They will be joined by Ele Smith, a prominent figure in the asset finance market and a specialist in renewable energy funding for UK businesses; commercial energy consultant Tim Cook, who brings more than a decade of experience in the clean energy sector; and Smart Ease national sales director Gaige Ross, who has worked with companies across the UK to find and deliver payment solutions for renewable energy projects.

Listen in on their discussion and bring your own questions to the table for this free webinar, from 9:30am on Tuesday 3 October. Register now at bit.ly/power2yourbusiness
