Simon Walshe, an independent financial adviser in Chase de Vere’s Bath office, has been shortlisted in the Young Retirement Planner of the Year category at the Retirement Planner Awards 2017.
Simon, 30, pictured, joined Chase de Vere in 2009 after achieving a first-class degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath.
He progressed to become a qualified independent financial adviser in 2012 and has continued to go from strength to strength.
He achieved Chartered Financial Planner status through the Chartered Insurance Institute and then attained Fellowship status, the highest accolade. He is now one of the very best qualified advisers in the country.
Simon’s business performance also reflects his ongoing professional progress. He provides independent financial advice to professionals such as doctors and other medical practitioners and has hosted many seminars and presentations on pensions and retirement planning for them. He also has a full understanding of the NHS Pension Scheme and its many complexities.
Chase de Vere chief executive Stephen Kavanagh said: “It is really pleasing that Simon has been shortlisted for this prestigious retirement planning award. He provides a fantastic service to his clients in Bath and the South West and is a great example of the focus we place on developing talent within Chase de Vere.”
The Retirement Planner Awards winners will be announced on June 16.
