Midsomer Norton-based business printer Integrity Print is focusing on acquisition and diversification in the run-up to its 100th birthday later this year.
As well as acquiring food packaging specialist C&P Packaging earlier this year, the company has invested £600,000 to expand its laser printing and label printing capacity and has recruited more staff to develop its data and e-commerce offerings.
The new laser printers will primarily support the growth of Integrity’s outsourced office mail service Clarity Mail, which last year had sales of more than £1m.
Meanwhile the continued popularity of online shopping is expected to lead to further growth for its plain and printed integrated labels, which have become the company’s number one product by sales.
Integrity employs more than 300 people and operates more than 50 presses on its 16-acre site on Midsomer Norton’s Westfield Trading Estate. Its clients includes Tesco, Thatchers, John Lewis and the RNLI. Its 100th anniversary celebrations take place in November.
Integrity managing director Mark Cornford said: “Our 100th birthday is a significant anniversary and one that we’ll definitely be celebrating with our staff and customers. But it’s vital that we continue to focus on the business transformation process to ensure a stable and profitable future.
“Our expansion and diversification programme is already showing results across our business divisions, and we’ll continue to look for new opportunities to meet the needs of a changing market.”
