National accountancy firm Smith & Williamson is launching a series of webinars for partners in professional practices later this month.
The series begins on Thursday, March 25, with ‘Introduction to the Partnership,’ which will guide newly appointed equity partners through the transition from employee to equity partner.
This will be followed by ‘Financial Planning for Professionals’ on Thursday, May 6, which will look at the implications of the current tax environment and provide guidance on strategic investment options.
The third webinar, ‘Retirement from the Partnership’ on June 17 will give advice to equity partners who are approaching retirement.
All will take place between 9am and 10am.
Smith & Williamson Bristol tax manager and head of professional practices Robert Davies said: “The taxation and pensions landscape continues to be complicated, with government consultations due to be released on March 23 expected to set the scene for further change in these areas.
“We are hosting this series of webinars for partners in professional practices to help them through the complexities, with each of them focusing on a particular career milestone, offering solutions and practical advice.”
