Expert support on how to enhance digital presence, adopt new technologies, improve competitiveness and increase productivity is now available to small and medium-sized businesses Bath firms under a new scheme.
Called Tech for Growth, the initiative offers tailored tech adoption consultancy to eligible organisations.
It aims to equip businesses with the necessary tools to thrive in the evolving digital landscape through a range of methods and tools, including specialist hands-on, one-to-one support, expert workshops and skills advice.
This will enable businesses to put in place new systems to improve processes, productivity and competitiveness while gaining the support to enter new markets, attract new customers, increase sales and support growth in turnover and employment.
Delegates on the programme will have the chance to enhance their knowledge on subjects such as SEO, AI, data management, digital marketing, brand strategy and sales processes, as well as connect with experts and peers to share best practices.
Tech for Growth has been launched by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and delivered in partnership with business organisation Business West and techSPARK, the regional information hub for all things tech.
techSPARK’s Lucy Paine said the organisation had been a part of the Tech for Growth programme since June 2020.
“It’s a special project, linking our community with companies needing tech support to grow,” she added.
“We’ve seen the impact of the tailored approach and are really proud to be a part of this new phase.”
Business West head of skills delivery Lizzie Lyons, who is leading on the project, said: “It is essential businesses have the knowledge, provision and means to excel in an increasingly digital world and Tech for Growth is poised to deliver precisely that.”
To be eligible for support, businesses must be based in the West of England region, turn over a minimum of £100,000, have at least three but fewer than 250 employees and have an ambition to grow and create more jobs.
