National property consultancy Carter Jonas has made five promotions in its Bath offices, including Sharon Hunter and Tom Lowe to associate partner.
Sharon joined the firm in 2011 and has more than 12 years’ experience in the property industry. Based in its Wood Street branch in the city centre, she specialises in all aspects of residential lettings. Last year Sharon won the prestigious property industry ESTAS People Award for a second time in recognition of the exceptional level of service that she provides to landlords and tenants.
Also promoted in the residential team is Jon Yearwood, who becomes senior property manager. Jon joined Carter Jonas in 2013 and has been instrumental in supporting a successful lettings team as it continues to build market share across the region.
Tom Lowe works in the firm’s commercial team based in its new professional services office in St James House on Lower Bristol Road. Tom, who joined Carter Jonas in 2014, leads the Bath building surveying team.
He has more than 10 years’ experience advising private and public sector clients on a range of commercial and residential property matters, including historic and listed buildings.
Two other members of the commercial team, Rupert Allsop and Tim Brooksbank, have been promoted to senior surveyor. Rupert, who joined Carter Jonas in 2010, and Tim, who has worked at the firm since 2012, both participated in the firms’ graduate training scheme.
Rupert leads the Bath lease consultancy service in the retail/leisure, office and industrial markets. Tim specialises in retail agency and investment work, advising clients on expansion and relocation strategies as well as the marketing, disposal and acquisition of properties and portfolios across the south west.
In total Carter Jonas has promoted 65 people this year across its 38 UK offices.
The firm’s Bath head Philip Marshall said: “This has been an exciting year for the South West team. We have opened second offices in Bath and Marlborough as well as launching new branches in Taunton and Truro. We have also grown our business lines and expanded the services we offer to clients in Bath and across the region.
“Of course, our ability to do this is not only dependant on our clients, but also the talent, knowledge and expertise of our people. I would like to congratulate all of those who have been promoted and celebrate their hard work and efforts as well as our commitment to their future development and success.”
Carter Jonas opened its first Bath office in 2009. Its commercial and rural teams in the city now have 32 qualified surveyors offering a comprehensive range of property services including commercial, retail and rural agency, architecture and building consultancy, management, planning and valuations.
