Regional law firm Goughs Solicitors has made a number of promotions across various departments, including two new partners, in a move that recognises and celebrates its internal talent.
The firm, which has seven offices across Wiltshire, including in Chippenham, Trowbridge, Melksham and Corsham, said its latest promotions round celebrated “exceptional knowledge, skills and talent” within the five individuals’ teams.
The five are:
- Rebecca Dennis, previously head of employment, who has joined the firm’s partnership.
- Nadine Stevenson, previously a senior associate in the residential property, who also joins becomes a partner.
- Natasha Miller, who is now an associate family solicitor.
- Amy Moran, who has been promoted to associate in the residential property team.
- Laura Cole, who becomes the firm's marketing director.
Rebecca, pictured top left, joined Goughs three years ago and has specialised in employment law for many years, providing consistent and risk-aware advice to employers and employees. Her experience includes both contentious and non-contentious work. Her professional background is unique in that she worked for more than 20 years as a barrister providing legal advice, drafting and advocacy for her clients and, more recently, provided specialist trouble-shooting services on employment law and employee relations at a leading international HR outsourcing company.
Nadine, pictured top right, qualified as a solicitor in 2016 specialising into residential property and has been with Goughs for more than five years. She has been working in property law for more than 10 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience specific to Wiltshire and the surrounding towns and cities, which helps her provide clear and pragmatic advice to her clients and assists in simplifying the property experience.
Natasha, pictured bottom left, joined Goughs in 2019 as a trainee solicitor, going on to qualified as a family law solicitor two years later. Since then she has worked on all aspects on family law, developing a particular interest in divorce, finance, cohabitation matters and pre and post-nuptial agreements. She is also an LGBTQ+ ambassador and regularly assists members of the LGBTQ+ community with all aspects of family law.
Amy, pictured bottom right, joined Goughs as a residential property practitioner in 2015 after working as a paralegal in a Bristol firm. Knowing that she wanted to study law further, she qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2019.
Laura, pictured right, originally studied Law at university before having a successful career in marketing. She brings a wealth of expertise to Goughs with 9 years’ experience in sales, business development and marketing roles.
