Mogers Drewett, the regional law firm with offices in Bath, Wells, Frome and Sherborne, has achieved accreditation under the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS), demonstrating best practice for wills and estate administration advice.
The scheme is designed to help address common risks, errors and inconsistencies that arise in delivering advice and sets client service standards to ensure transparency in process, costs and communications. It also outlines required practices for will drafting, probate and estate administration.
Mogers Drewett partner and head of private client, Rory McFarlane, said: “As wills, inheritance and end-of-life estates administration is a core service, we have always strived to ensure we deliver only the best advice and the highest levels of integrity to our clients.
“End-of-life affairs are particularly sensitive and there should never be an additional burden of poor advice or service placed on the bereaved. This is fundamentally understood and appreciated by Mogers Drewett and our solicitors.
“By securing WIQS accreditation, our clients can be assured that we have the necessary expertise to deliver wills and inheritance advice, and that we will give them the information they need to understand the process, options, costs and timescales from the outset.
“The WIQS accreditation scheme is extremely robust, and as well as assessment our solicitors undertake mandatory training. It is testament to the dedication of our private client team that we were able to secure this accreditation.”
As an accredited member of the Law Society Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme, Mogers Drewett can provide advice on lasting powers of attorney, Inheritance Tax, asset protection and other matters.
