National law firm Stone King’s Bath office has made a number of new appointments and internal promotions as it continues to strengthen its workforce.
Senior associate Hannah Gates has joined the office’s commercial property team along with trainee solicitor Jessica Ventham in trusts and estates and Jasdeep Dhariwal, who takes up a paralegal role in the dispute resolution and litigation team.
Newly qualified solicitors Hannah Sterry and Angus McWilliams are also continuing their career progression having completed their trainee solicitor roles with the firm. Also joining the Queen Square office is senior HR consultant Sean Honan.
Welcoming Hannah Sterry to the information law team, partner Paula Williamson said: “We know how hard our newly qualified solicitors have worked and look forward to watching Hannah’s career develop as she supports our clients with the full range of information law matters.”
Hannah assists clients to navigate complex information law issues in various contexts, including employment disputes, commercial transactions, complex requests for information to educational establishments, charitable incorporations and safeguarding matters.
Angus has joined the firm’s criminal law team and partner Matt Graham, who leads the team, added: “Stone King takes great pride in supporting and nurturing careers at every stage of the legal profession and Angus is a great addition to the criminal team.”
Partner Craig Vincent, who heads the firm’s HR consultancy services, said Sean brought with him a wealth of experience.
“We’re delighted to have him back in the team having lived in New Zealand for two years. He will provide advice and guidance on HR and employment issues such as recruitment, redundancy, TUPE and much more for a range of our education, charity and business clients.”
Stone King managing partner Steven Greenwood, pictured, congratulated the new team members and recent promotions.
He said: “Whether they are adding to the expert legal advice that our clients rely on us for, or supporting the wellbeing of our staff, our new team member arrivals and promotions are contributing to our continued growth during an incredibly busy period for Stone King.”
