The private client team is ranked in Band 2 for its work, with the guide calling its advice “first class” and client testimonies describing it as “clear and responsive” and “extremely knowledgeable and efficient”.

The team and Penelope’s recognition in the High Net Worth Guide is the firm’s latest success in the prestigious Chambers and Partners rankings.

The publications have been regarded as a leading source of legal market intelligence for more than 30 years, with over that time a dozen departments and many more individual lawyers included from across the Thrings’ offices.

Meanwhile, Jayne Kemsley,  pictured abovea partner in Thrings’ residential property team in its London office, is ranked for the first time in the guide in Band 4, highlighting her “pragmatic” approach with feedback in the rankings including that she is “a joy to work with” and the “number one solicitor of choice for conveyancing”.

Thrings managing partner Simon Holdsworth said: “It is fantastic to see Penelope and the private client team maintain their well-earned place in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide, with Jayne’s first listing this year equally as deserved.

“Both are examples of what dedication to their work should look like, with the feedback in the guide accurately reflecting their reputations as trusted advisers, and this flows very much into the outstanding work of their teams to support clients through complicated and often stressful times.”
