Bath-headquartered law firm RWK Goodman has been shortlisted for a major social care industry award for the second year in a row.
The firm is one of eight selected by an independent judging panel in the Private Legal Advisor of the Year category in the LaingBuisson Awards.
Staged by health, care and education business intelligence provider LaingBuisson since 2016, the awards recognise and celebrate industry excellence and innovative services in the public, private and third sectors.
Last year RWK Goodman was shortlisted in the Legal Advisor – Independent category but lost out to national law firm Mills & Reeve on the night.
This year’s shortlisting recognises RWK Goodman’s excellence in the provision of legal services to the private health and social sector.
RWK Goodman head of health and social care Hazel Phillips, pictured, said the firm’s selection as testament to the quality of advice and service delivered by its health and social care team in transactional, employment, real estate, banking and regulatory work.
“We take great pride in the continued recognition of our dedicated team,” she added.
“We immensely enjoy working with operators and investors in the sector and look forward to celebrating at the awards dinner.”
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 16 November at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge, in London.
RWK Goodman, which was formed last year from the merger of Bath-headquartered Royds Withy King and London practice Goodman Derrick, provides a comprehensive range of legal services from corporate and commercial, clinical negligence and personal injury to family and private client and advises in a number of key sectors.
It employs more than 500 people across its offices in Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Oxford and London.
