The successful Bath Business Expo returns for its fourth year in March, bringing together businesses from across the West of England for a packed day of seminars, networking and support.

Last year’s Expo – the largest business event in the area – attracted more than 550 people, with excellent feedback from exhibitors and attendees.

Taking place at the Assembly Rooms on March 16, the Expo will include a packed seminar programme including sessions from Google’s Digital Garage-  a business education programme sponsored by Google to inform SME businesses on the latest trends in a digital world – and on online security for business as well as social media.

West of England Metro Mayor Tim Bowles will also speak at the event, when he will address the key issues affecting the region’s economy.

LinkedIn expert Mark Stonham will give the latest tips for using the powerful network while other talks are being lined up on the GDPR regulations, which come into force in May and will change how businesses must handle personal data.

Get Connected organiser James Tribe said: “This event is a massive networking opportunity and we’d like to invite business people from the entire region, including Bath, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, to come along on the day.

“We’re driven by the knowledge of how useful these events can be to businesses, providing opportunities and connections that can have a profound effect.”

Bath Business Expo has again attracted a range of blue-chip sponsors including NatWest, Datasharp, Minuteman Press and Bath’s Historic Venues. Bath Business News is once again supporting the event as media partner along with Creative Business News – its recently launched sister website for the area’s creative sector.
