Bath accountancy firm Richardson Swift has strengthened its growing team of tax and business advisers with two new appointments.
Rachael Rackham joins the business as a senior accounts manager from Haines Watts in Bristol, where she worked in a senior role advising owner-managed businesses.
Rachael qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2004 having served her apprenticeship with Bath and Radstock firm Bernard Waldron and Co, which she joined straight from Bath’s Ralph Allen School.
Richardson Swift also welcomes trainee accountant Paul Bongiovanni, who recently graduated from the University of Plymouth with an MSc in finance. His master’s dissertation examined how dividend policy affects company valuations.
A former sixth former at John of Gaunt School in Trowbridge, Paul will be working towards his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification while at Richardson Swift.
Richardson Swift director Debbie Boulton said: “We are very pleased to welcome Rachael and Paul to our expanding team.
“Rachael has considerable experience in all aspects of accounting, auditing and tax so her expertise will be much in demand among our clients, who range from owner-managed firms to larger, international businesses.
“We also wish Paul every success as he embarks on a career in accountancy having worked so hard at university for his master’s degree.”
