Bath public relations agency Highlight has enjoyed success in two prestigious awards scheme in one week for its social media campaigns.
It collected gold in the 2015 South of England & Channel Islands PRide Awards for Best Use of Social Media for its successful campaign to mark the 30th anniversary of iconic toy brand Sylvanian Families. 
Using a range of creative tactics across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, the campaign captured the imaginations of former collectors of the cute woodland animals as well as new generations of fans.
Within 18 months, Highlight built up an active community of 100,000 social media fans, and helped the brand become the third best-selling collectible toy in the UK.
Organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, the PRide awards are widely regarded as the region’s top honours for PR and social media.
That success was rapidly followed in the national Social Buzz Awards where Highlight was highly commended for Best Use of Social Media Competitions for its #PassMiffyOn campaign for iconic children’s character Miffy.
The Social Buzz awards are organised by leading industry magazine The Drum. Highlight beat off competition from many top London social media agencies and blue-chip brands to achieve its commendation.
