Danielle Kirk, director of property management in property agents Lambert Smith Hampton’s South West office, has been shortlisted for a prestigious national industry award.

Danielle, pictured, aged 33, is one of just six to make it onto the final shortlist in Property Week’s Rising Star of the Year award, which recognizes talented young achievers in property management aged 40 and under.

The award is one of 11 in the Management All Stars, which celebrate excellence across the real estate industry.

Judges in the Rising Star category are seeking high fliers able to demonstrate an impressive range of qualities, from sound business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to solid leadership skills and the ability to drive change in their workplace.

Since joining Lambert Smith Hampton’s(LSH) Bristol office eight years ago as a graduate, Danielle has worked with clients ranging from small scale investors to some of the consultancy’s biggest fund clients such as Henderson UK Property Fund, Aberdeen and Lothbury Investment Management.

As a specialist in service charge preparation and management, along with mixed commercial property management, Danielle manages Bristol’s high-profile, 114,000 sq ft Spectrum building.

She is also an APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) assessor for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), as well as being a sponsor for LSH’s property management workstream programme, which encourages younger colleagues to pitch ideas to the board. She was promoted to director in March this year.

Danielle said: “I’m thrilled to have been shortlisted for this award. The nomination comes at an exciting time for LSH’s property management division, which has recently secured several significant wins across the UK. I look forward to representing our team in October.”

Matt Leach, asset manager at V7, one of Danielle’s clients and asset manager of Spectrum, said “All too often, property managers treat their clients with a ‘one size fits all’ approach, but Danielle has a real talent for understanding how her clients work, what they want, when they want it and actually delivering it on time.

“She’s an outstanding property manager and very astute, and I wish her the very best of luck.”

The winners of the All Star Awards will be announced at a black tie ceremony on October 26 at the Grosvenor House hotel on London’s Park Lane.
