Three apprentices and a trainee solicitor have joined Bath-headquartered national law firm Stone King.
Tag Rowe, pictured bottom-right, took part in the 10,000 Black Interns scheme this summer at Stone King and has now joined the firm as an apprentice solicitor.
Also joining as an apprentice solicitor is Ifthikharul Hoque, top-left, while Keeana Calibuso, top-middle, is taking on an apprentice paralegal role in the charity team.
Sidra Shiraz, bottom-left, has recently started in the education team as a trainee solicitor.
Meanwhile, Jasdeep Dhariwal, top-right, who has been working as a paralegal in the dispute resolution team, will this month become an apprentice solicitor.
Stone King partner and head of its education team Graham Burns welcomed the new starters, adding: “We’re fortunate to have as many as four bright new trainees and apprentices joining us this month, and we look forward to witnessing and supporting their development as they start this exciting new chapter.”
Stone King partner and head of the dispute resolution team Tony Pidgeon added: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jasdeep for two years now and am so pleased to see her progressing her career. This is a well-deserved move for her and I’m sure she will excel in her new role.”
The pioneering 10,000 Black Interns scheme provides valuable experience for Black students and graduates in various professional settings through meaningful paid internships that last for up to six weeks with the aim of increasing the representation of Black people in professional services businesses.
Stone King, which employs more than 230 people across its offices in Bath, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds and London, is a national leader in the charity, faith and education sectors.
