Quote My Catering (www.quotemycatering.com) finds the most suitable local caterer for any event, based on information provided through one simple online form.
Victoria and Peter, who have run their own catering company in Bath for 10 years, often find organising catering for functions can be complicated and confusing for potential customers.
Victoria said: “Often customers find us through a telephone or online directory and call us asking if we can offer catering for their event.
“They do not know anything about us as a caterer, what information they need to provide or how much they should be looking to spend.
“We saw a real opportunity to develop a service that would make the process a lot easier both for both caterers and customers.”
By speaking to multiple caterers, Quote My Catering can offer a wider choice of options and menus.
A simple form on the website has all the questions needed to provide a quote, which not only simplifies the process for the customer but also makes the process of quoting more efficient for caterers.
Once the form is completed, local caterers are immediately contacted and offered the opportunity to quote for the work. Potential customers are then offered quotes from up to four caterers from which they can choose one that best meets their requirements.
