Earlier client deliveries, operating efficiencies and deferred costs helped SciSys, the specialist IT and software firm, finish its first half of 2012 finished more strongly than had been initially expected.
The Chippenham-based group, which also has an operation in Bristol, also said it had maintained a solid order book during the period ending 30 June. As a result, its directors said in a trading update released today, that they are confident that results for the first half of the year will be consistent with current guidance for the full year.
The group supplies bespoke ICT software systems, IT-based business solutions and support services to a range of sectors spanning space and defence to media broadcast. Its interim results will be posted on September 26.
