Each week Bath Business News gives a prominent member of the city’s business community the last word on its weekly e-bulletin.

This week Debbie Boulton, director of business services at Bath accountancy firm Richardson Swift, answers our 10 questions.

What was the LAST:

Film you watched? Jurassic World in 3D with my daughters – lots of jumping out of my seat, a very good film. It was the first film to ever gross $500m in its opening weekend – incredible!

Book you read? I’ve read all the Gillian Flynn books recently of which Gone Girl was my favourite. They’re quite dark, which I like, but I will be buying some ‘lighter reads’ to take on holiday shortly.

Music you bought or downloaded? Having teenage daughters, I do tend to download a lot of today’s chart music, which I enjoy. I also downloaded Radio One’s Live Lounge recently which has some really good versions of recent hits.

Concert or play you went to? The last concert I went to was One Direction at Wembley. I couldn’t believe the noise the girls in the crowd made before they came on – deafening!

Sporting event you attended? I watched Bath Rugby in the Premiership Final at Twickenham last month – it was a great atmosphere, lots of Bath supporters, but unfortunately not a great result for Bath. My husband blamed me as Bath always lose when I watch (luckily that’s not very often!)

Holiday you went on? We went to Florida last year for the full Disney experience. We loved the rides and really enjoyed Kennedy Space Centre and overall thought Florida as a place was much better than expected. I know the reputation locally is it’s full of tourists and retired people.

Restaurant you ate in? I was at Bonzo Lounge in Keynsham (where I live) on Saturday night for a girls’ night out. The Raspberry Mojitos were very nice, as was the food.

Thing that annoyed you? I have been trying to achieve a ‘rowing target’ at the gym where I have to row a certain number of metres in a certain amount of time. I still haven’t managed to achieve it which gets me quite annoyed. Maybe next time….

Thing that made you laugh out loud? I’ve been watching some old Peter Kay live shows and he still makes me laugh out loud. He’s just so perceptive in picking up everyday things we all do and making fun of us all.

Piece of good advice you were given? I read Eat that Frog recently which gave me a good lesson in how to stop procrastinating and get on with the work. I particularly liked the advice to do the task you don’t want to do first and then reward yourself, perhaps with a piece of cake!
