Film you watched? Empire of the Sun. One of my favourite books and films, I re-watched it after re-reading the book.
Book you read? Chinaman by Shehan Karunatilaka, which is a fantastic story of cricket and Sri Lankan life.
Music you bought or downloaded? Channel Orange by Frank Ocean.
Concert or play you went to? Matthew and the Atlas at Union Chapel, definitely my favourite music venue in the country.
Sporting event you attended? Bristol v Harlequins at Ashton Gate.
Holiday you went on? Weekend in Toulouse with my son
Restaurant you ate in? Ole Tapas in John Street.
Thing that annoyed you? Being welcomed to Bath by a local seagull with a very good aim.
Thing that made you laugh out loud? My son Felix’s dancing to Queen’s Fat Bottomed Girls.
Piece of good advice you were given? Buy a lottery ticket (after my seagull welcome)!
Edward Thompson joined Bath law firm Mowbray Woodwards in April as an associate solicitor in dispute resolution. He qualified in 2012 and has since developed a breadth of expertise in civil and commercial litigation. His major practice area is property litigation, but he also advises on contractual disputes, construction and land disputes, professional negligence and banking litigation.
