Each week Bath Business News gives a prominent member of the city’s business community the last word on its weekly e-bulletin. This week Goughs family solicitor Hannah Francis answers our 10 questions.
What was the LAST:
Film you watched: Leave the World Behind with Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali. A dystopian but believable thriller which really made me think about how much we rely on technology!
Book you read: The Woman on the Ledge by Ruth Mancini – a real twisty page-turner!
Music you bought/downloaded: Paolo Nutini’s album Last Night in the Bittersweet – he has such a great voice.
Concert or play you went to see: The Book of Mormon in the Prince of Wales theatre in London. It is completely outrageous but a fantastic night out.
Sporting event you attended: Blenheim Palace triathlon – only as a spectator and chief of moral support, but it was a great event!
Holiday you went on: Over the first May bank holiday I took a trip down to Devon and stayed in a gorgeous little cottage that I found on Airbnb. It had no signal, and it was lovely to shut off from the world for 48 hours.
Restaurant you ate in: Ponte Vecchio in Bath. Very tasty pasta and even better wine.
Thing that annoyed you: I dropped a weight on my phone in the gym and smashed my whole phone screen!
Thing that made you laugh out loud: Listening to the Off Menu podcast with Ed Gamble & James Acaster
Piece of good advice you were given: “If it’s not a blessing, then it’s a lesson”.
