Each week Bath Business News gives a prominent member of the city’s business community the last word on its weekly e-bulletin. This week Janette Woodland, head of commercial property at Bath law firm Mowbray Woodwards, answers our 10 questions.
What was the LAST:
Film you watched? It was in black and white – Lucky Jim – based on the novel by Kingsley Amis. It’s hilarious.
Book you read? The Thirst by Jo Nesbo – chilling!
Music you bought or downloaded? The sound track to the film Reservoir Dogs – some amazing tracks.
Concert or play you went to? Jake Bugg acoustic at the Colston Hall.
Sporting event you attended? I had tickets for Centre Court at Wimbledon on the opening Monday in 2013. I saw Andy Murray and Djokovic and ate a lot of picnic……
Holiday you went on? India for a wedding in Hyderabad and then to Rajasthan, taking in fabulous cities and forts – Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Amritsar.
Restaurant you ate in? Hudson Steakhouse in Bath
Thing that annoyed you? I couldn’t possibly comment……
Thing that made you laugh out loud? Lucky Jim – see above. But the book is even better (aren’t they always?)
Piece of good advice you were given? Never play in the yellow patch of snow……
