Each week Bath Business News gives a prominent member of the area’s business community the last word on its weekly e-bulletin. This week Peter Woodhouse, head of business sector and social enterprise sector at Bath-headquartered law firm Stone King, answers our 10 questions.
What was the LAST:
Film you watched? Actually real life going out to the cinema – No Time To Die, definitely one that benefitted from the big screen.
Book you read? The Power of Geography by Tim Marshall, which does an impressive job of explaining macro political issues in the context of, as you might predict, geographical factors.
Music you bought/downloaded? The Enemy – great for a hard spin session.
Concert or play you went to? Nothing too erudite I’m afraid – the pantomime at Bath Theatre Royal.
Sporting event you attended? Bristol Bears v Exeter Chiefs at Ashton Gate – not a particularly good year to be a Bristol supporter – albeit marginally better than being a Bath supporter.
Holiday you went on? Just back from Anglesey – who needs the Mediterranean when you have beaches and mountains just a short drive up the M6?
Restaurant you ate in? The Ivy in Bath.
Thing(s) that annoyed you? My children.
Thing(s) that made you laugh out loud? My children.
Piece of good advice you were given? Get up early, work hard and read a lot.
