West Business News, the owner of Bath Business News and its sister websites in Bristol and Swindon, has been acquired by TheBusinessDesk.com.
Founder Robert Buckland has joined TheBusinessDesk.com as its South West editor as part of the publisher's growth plans. He has led the development of Bath Business News, Bristol Business News and Swindon Business News for more than a decade.
TheBusinessDesk.com launched in the South West in 2023, when it became the fifth region covered by the news and events company.
It was founded in Yorkshire 18 years ago and subsequently expanded into the North West, West Midlands and East Midlands, becoming an integral part of business life in those regions.
