Global real estate advice firm Avison Young has promoted three of its South West-based staff – Daniel Rich, Matthew Dingle and Nicole Kruger – to associate director.
Daniel joined the firm in 2013 as a graduate and gained his RICS chartered status in 2016. A member of Avison Young’s land and development team, he is involved in all areas of development, including brownfield/urban regeneration, listed buildings, build to rent, and housebuilder sites.
Daniel advises private and public sector clients, assisting with marketing and development strategies, and with a particular focus around sustainability and net zero carbon, nature-based solutions and biodiversity net gain.
Nicole first worked as a graduate surveyor in Avison Young’s Cardiff office 15 years ago, rejoining the firm from NHS Wales Specialist Estate Services in 2019.
She works in the healthcare team, specialising in primary care, advising GP practices, landlords, investors, funds and banks, across areas including valuation work, development, investment and lease advisory services.
Nicole has recently become a committee member of the Bristol Property Inclusion Commission, the body on a mission to widen representation in the sector. She said: “I hope by joining the committee I can help highlight that there are opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background, to benefit from our industry.”
Matthew has been practising since 2012 as a building surveyor and gaining his chartered status in 2016.
He has been involved in a wide variety of building surveying instructions across the South West, specialising in project monitoring and management roles.
Recent instructions include project monitoring on behalf of Homes England for three residential developments in North Devon, and project management of a student accommodation refurbishment project in Exeter.
Two years ago he was selected to join Avison Young’s Emerging Leaders programme.
Avison Young regional managing director Jo Davis, pictured, said: “These promotions are testament to the performance and potential of Avison Young’s future leaders.
“The individuals recognised have demonstrated a collaborative and client-centric approach, driving our values on a daily basis.
“We are a business that is powered by people, and it is now more important than ever to recognise and retain innovative and agile thinkers.”
She also congratulated Becky Rigg, who has been promoted to senior surveyor, adding: “The calibre of our young talent across the Bristol office is an inspiration and makes for exciting times.”
