Monahans Financial Services, part of the Bath-based accountancy group, is celebrating after one of its key employees scooped a prestigious national industry award.
Gill Perry won the prize for the best paraplanner at the prestigious Money Marketing Financial Services awards. The awards, which have been running for 22 years, recognise the very best performers in the financial services industry.
Gill received her award from Greg Davies, one of the stars of hit TV show The Inbetweeners, at a glittering event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel attended by more than 800 financial industry figures.
Monahans Financial Services managing director Steve Missen said: “Paraplanners play a crucial role in providing our clients with a first class service but tend to operate behind the scenes, supporting our financial advisers.
“Gill is an outstanding example of a paraplanner with great knowledge and initiative and it is fantastic that she has been recognised for the contribution she brings to the firm and our clients.
“This is the seventh award that the firm has received in a very short period and is a reflection of the work we have completed in recent times to improve the service we provide to our clients.”
Monahans Financial Services, which become part of the Monahans Group in 1999 is an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) for personal and business clients. The firm’s main administrative centre is in Trowbridge with staff at Monahans offices in Bath, Chippenham, Swindon and Glastonbury.
