Two consultants from Bath-based change management consultancy Nine Feet Tall have been shortlisted in a prestigious national awards scheme staged by industry body, the Management Consultancies Association (MCA).
Kim Hannon and Aileen Davis are in the running for Consultant of the Year and Young Consultant of the Year respectively in the MCA’s nationwide annual accolades.
Kim is one of the five shortlisted candidates in the Change Management Consultant of the Year category, competing against some of the brightest talent from large consultancy organisations across the UK, including PwC, E&Y and Atkins.
She said: “This is no mean feat for a consultant from a growing Bath-based consultancy and I’m really pleased my approach and skills have been recognised by the MCA.

“I believe my hands-on delivery experience across various business sectors and my down-to-earth and engaging delivery style has stood me in good stead to get shortlisted and I’m now looking forward to the glittering awards ceremony later this month.”
Aileen added: “It’s great to be in the running for a prestigious industry award so early in my career.
Although I have only been at Nine Feet Tall since 2011, I have been exposed to a large number of exciting projects gaining experience in the areas of business analysis, project management, change management and delivering small group training sessions.”
Aileen combines the demands of being a consultant with captaining the premiership hockey team Clifton Ladies Hockey Club and playing hockey for Scotland – she has 36 caps.
Nine Feet Tall founder Esther McMorris said: “The MCA awards have been celebrating the value of consulting for 17 years by promoting the very best projects and consultants that the industry has to offer.
“As the benchmark of quality within the consulting industry, they show how clients and consultants work together to achieve great results and I am delighted that two of my talented team players have been recognised for their outstanding contribution as consultants to Nine Feet Tall’s clients.
“Kim is an expert at engaging teams and keeping communications flowing, bringing all levels of the business on board to achieve its project goals and the way she adapts, works with and transfers know-how to clients is truly second-to-none.
“Aileen is also an outstanding consultant always giving her very best in all undertakings. She has thrived through Nine Feet Tall’s empowerment and she wholeheartedly deserves the Young Consultant of the Year award.”
Winners will be announced at the MCA’s awards ceremony and dinner at the Park Plaza hotel in Westminster on April 24.
The awards are judged by a panel of independent experts with experience of working in the private and public sectors, universities, consultancy and journalism.
Nine Feet Tall works with a diverse range of clients including some of the UK’s largest organisations, educational institutions, not-for-profit organisations and SMEs, helping them improve their performance and team effectiveness, making them more efficient, leaner and effective.
