Bath law firm Stone King has bolstered its commercial team with the appointment of experienced business property lawyer Philip Lawrence.
Philip joins the firm as an associate solicitor from Veale Wasbrough Vizards in Bristol, where he held a similar position.
He specialises in commercial property and property development, including advice on strategic land options and promotion agreements. He also has extensive experience dealing with commercial leases and licensed trade properties.
He is one of three new staff at the firm’s Bath office. Also joining as a paralegal is Clare Sharp, who was previously a legal secretary in financial litigation at Clark Willmott in Bristol and was nominated for Legal PA of the Year in 2013 and 2015.
Darcy Short joins the firm’s HR team as an apprentice recruitment administrator – her first role within HR.
Managing partner Steven Greenwood said: “We are delighted to welcome Philip, Clare and Darcy to the team at what is an exciting time of growth for the firm.
“Philip has extensive experience helping clients buy, sell and lease commercial property, as well as advising them on the development of land for commercial and other uses. His expertise will be of great benefit to Stone King’s many commercial clients.
“We also wish Clare and Darcy every success in their new roles.”
Stone King also has offices in London, Cambridge and Leeds.
