National law firm Stone King is welcoming three new legal experts to its Bath head office as part of its latest recruitment drive.
Kate Tomlinson has joined as an associate solicitor in its information law team, while in January two new recruits will boost its trusts and estates team.
Emily Moberly, who has extensive experience in Wills and probate, joins as an associate from Wards Solicitors in Bristol, which she joined as a trainee seven-and-a-half years ago.
Stephen Horton will join as an associate chartered tax adviser having spent the past five-and-a-half years working at regional law firm Thrings as a senior executive.
Stone King partner Kathryn Layzell, pictured, who is based in Bath and heads the trusts and estates team, said: “It is an exciting time of growth for our team and we look forward to Emily and Stephen joining us at the beginning of 2022.
“It has been a challenging time for many and we will endeavour to do everything we can to continue supporting our clients through the months ahead, aided by our strengthened team.”
The firm’s corporate & commercial team has welcomed solicitor Ben Phillips to its London office while Laura Giles will join the Leeds office in January as a senior associate. Ben arrives from IBB Law and will focus on general corporate & commercial work, including intellectual property.
For Laura, the move marks a return to Stone King, having spent nearly six years at the firm as a solicitor and then associate before leaving in 2018.
Her broad range of expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate and social finance, commercial agreements and corporate reorganisations, among other areas.
