Renewable power group Good Energy has made three senior appointments to oversee and drive growth in its services division.
The Chippenham-headquartered company, which has acquired five services businesses over the past two years – including two last month – said the new arrivals would oversee these operations while integrating them into the wider group.
The three – services managing director Carl Hogg, business development director, commercial solar, Ryan McShea and head of business development, commercial solar, Richard Fuell – will also help ensure continued organic growth, the firm said.
Carl will oversee Good Energy’s services business, leading operations across all five acquired entities to manage integration, drive growth and ensure a cohesive customer experience across the group.
He has more than 15 years’ experience in operational leadership overseeing large, complex services businesses.
He joins from Johnson Controls where, as group services director, he was responsible for service delivery and excellence across the UK and Ireland for building technology and solutions. In this role, he has contributed to double digit growth through improved strategy and customer experience.
Prior to that he worked in the telecoms industry at BT and then Openreach, starting as an apprentice engineer and advancing to senior roles, overseeing field engineering teams and contact centres globally.
Ryan will lead solar installation sales for Good Energy in the commercial sector, targeting customers from small-to-medium enterprises to large corporations and local authorities.
A fully qualified electrician, in 2010 he founded Empower Energy, which was recently acquired by Good Energy.
Hampshire-based Empower Energy, his third business, developed a strong reputation in the commercial solar market, overseeing the installation of over 35MW and grow is revenues to just over £10m in the year ending 31 August 2024.
Richard joins from Singapore-based Maxeon Solar Technologies and previously spent eight years managing UK sales for Israeli energy management platform firm SolarEdge.

Good Energy, which was founded in 1999 with a mission to power a cleaner, greener future, has targeted solar installation for growth over recent years and has also ventured into the heat pump installation market through acquisition.
It also part owns electric vehicle charge point mapping app Zapmap.
This summer the firm, which employs more than 250 people in Chippenham, became the first UK household energy supplier to be certified as a B Corp, recognising its high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
