Business networking group What’s Right is holding an auction at Bristol and Bath Science Park in aid of several local charities.

The event, from 6pm on Thursday, is the latest staged by What’s Right, which has raised more than £20,000 for good causes. Bristol Rovers tickets, a round of golf, spa days, free business consultations and a nutritional consultation for a dog are among the lots in the silent auction.

Money raised will go towards CCS Adoption, Jessie May, the Southmead Project, Rainbow Centre, St Peter’s Hospice and Young Enterprise.

What’s Right founder John Tiley said: “This is a great opportunity for us to be able to give back to the community.”

CCS Adoption development officer Sarah Hennessey added: “This promises to be a great event, with some fantastic items on auction and all in aid of very good causes.

“What’s Right has been a great support to us and it’s great to see it running events such as this.”

The evening will kick off with networking, followed by performances from the award-winning Bristol Musical Youth Productions (BMYP) performing songs from their upcoming show West Side Story.

What’s Right, which includes businesses from various industries, raises money for good causes by donating funds from work generated as a result of membership.
